Student Affairs removes barriers to student success through resources that support KU students who may have medical needs, experience exceptional personal difficulties, emergencies, food insecurity and more. Your One Day. One KU. gift to the funds below will ensure that every Jayhawk receives the help and support they need to persist, succeed and thrive during their KU journey.

The Jayhawk Student Support Fund provides financial support to students facing vulnerable situations such as food insecurity or emergencies. Sometimes all it takes is a small financial boost to give a student the support they need to stay in school.
The KU Campus Cupboard, KU’s food pantry, serves students by providing food, school supplies, personal hygiene products, and basic kitchen utensils. The need always outstrips the supply. In 2020-21, the Cupboard served 754 students over 2,174 visits.
Student Patient Assistance Fund provides financial assistance to students who are unable to afford a medical procedure, medicine or other healthcare expense recommended by their provider at KU’s Watkins Health Services.
