Your gift on One Day. One KU. has a meaningful impact on KU Law and our students. Please consider a gift to one of the following funding priorities.
Help future KU lawyers pass the bar
With their law degree in hand, graduates face one final hurdle to becoming a lawyer – the bar exam. KU Law’s Bar Exam Support Fund helps students clear that hurdle without the financial pressure of paying for a commercial bar review course. The program gives all KU Law students access to a post-graduation bar review course as part of a comprehensive suite of preparation resources. Since the Bar Exam Support Fund launched in 2018, KU Law graduates have passed the bar exam at rates above the state average in Kansas and Missouri. In July 2021, they earned a 100% first-time passage rate on the Missouri bar exam and a 98% first-time pass rate in Kansas. Your contribution helps sponsor this program for future generations of Jayhawk lawyers.
Help support the next generation of Jayhawk lawyers
The Reginald L. “Reggie” Robinson Law Scholarship was established in memory of the late Reggie Robinson, L’87. During four decades of teaching, mentorship and leadership in the KU community, Robinson served as a law professor, chief of staff for Chancellor Robert Hemenway, director of the School of Public Affairs and Administration, and vice chancellor for public affairs. Based on Robinson’s wishes, the scholarship benefits academically talented female students who express a strong interest in public service. Please consider a gift to support this scholarship and help us extend Robinson’s positive effect on the lives of KU Law students for years to come.
Help spruce up Green Hall
Whether recruiting future law students, welcoming alumni or honoring distinguished guests, KU Law puts its best foot forward. Jayhawk hospitality, outstanding faculty and innovative programs make a great impression — but Green Hall is showing its age, and visitors notice. Building on recent efforts that include power washing the building’s exterior, we hope to continue making improvements inside and out. Please consider a gift to help us continue to improve Green Hall.
