At the KU Biodiversity Institute & Natural History Museum, we study past and present life on earth to educate, engage and inspire. We train generations of scientists and share research through our museum exhibits and science outreach programs. Join us for the 2022 One Day. One KU. giving day as we raise funds to support Panorama Student Grants for graduate student research and for our Exhibits Fund.
PANORAMA STUDENT GRANTS FUND
Panorama Student Grants provide funds to help students being trained at the KU Biodiversity Institute and Natural History Museum pursue their own research, attend conferences and more. Panorama Grants provide up to $1,000 for each recipient. These relatively small grants enable students to purchase airfare for an expedition or to a research conference, buy food or supplies for an expedition, or obtain lab equipment and supplies related to their own work.
EXHIBITS FUND
A donation to the Exhibits Fund helps to maintain unique living exhibits, transform older exhibits and to produce new displays. Some of our most popular exhibits require continuous care including the insects of BugTown, the bees of the Bee Tree, the living plants of the Paleo Garden and more. Your donation also helps to transform older displays and create new ones by providing funds for specimen mount materials, cast materials, paint and other items.
Thank you for your support!
