One Day. One KU. has ended but your support makes a difference every day. You can still make a gift.
Scholarships

We are recruiting the best and brightest students at KU. The 2021 freshman class is the most talented in KU history, registering a record-high 3.66 average high school GPA. The two-year retention rate for 2019 freshmen is at an all-time high of 78.3%.

We need your help to ensure our students have the resources to succeed. Last year, 8,430 KU students received scholarship support from more than 22,000 privately funded scholarships managed by KU Endowment.  This support system is essential for students to attain their educational goals.

One of the most important factors for students debating a KU education is the availability of scholarships. Three areas of scholarship need are:

  • General/Unrestricted Scholarships As our university continues to attract a diverse student population, renewable scholarships are critical to provide an affordable education for KU students.

  • Scholarship Hall Scholarships KU is home to 12 unique scholarship halls, which are much more than just a place of residence. From their inception, the halls created a community at the heart of KU. Students have many living options, but nothing compares to the camaraderie, cooperation and strong sense of family experienced while living in a scholarship hall.

  • Study Abroad Scholarships Nearly 30 percent of KU students study abroad. The opportunity for Jayhawks to visit new lands and experience other cultures is invaluable to their education.

Every gift to One Day. One KU. makes a meaningful difference for our students. Thank you!
