The Hall Center for the Humanities supports research in the humanities; provides an intellectual hub for scholars and students in the humanities; fosters interdisciplinary conversation across the university; and promotes lively conversation about a broad range of topics through its public programming.
We believe that the humanities must play a critical role in building a humane future for our world!
Through its public programming, the Hall Center highlights the significance and continued relevance of humanities-based knowledge in our contemporary world. It engages diverse communities across the state in dialogue about local, national and global issues addressed by researchers in the humanities. Our grant programs enable faculty members and students to carry out important research projects.
Your support this year will help provide funding for KU undergraduate students working on research projects in the humanities that require access to research materials at archives, libraries, museums and other research sites, either locally or out-of-state. Please help us support our undergraduate students!
