The University of Kansas is home to more than 1,500 current and former service members and their families who are now pursuing their dreams of higher education. We offer a series of scholarships to help make college more accessible and affordable for military-affiliated students.
For One Day. One KU. this year, we are focusing on:
- Scholarships for wounded, ill, injured veterans and their families – For those with service-connected disabilities, Purple Heart recipients, caregivers, spouses/dependents of those with 100% service-connected disabilities, and spouses/dependents of those who died in the line of duty or who died as a result of service-connected disabilities.
- Student veteran scholarships – For exceptional servicemembers and veterans, with an emphasis on those who are/were junior enlisted. These student veterans possess strength in character, academic excellence and exceptional growth as demonstrated by their military career.
Whether you have served in the military, have a family member or friend who has served or simply want to honor the service of veterans, we hope you consider supporting our scholarship programs. Every gift counts.
