KU scientists have been leaders in research on intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), for more than 60 years. This work has enriched the lives of thousands of individuals and their families. To help these efforts continue to thrive, the University of Kansas recently invested in our continued growth and leadership in research on IDDs through a $3M award as part of the Research Rising program.
This year, for One Day. One KU., we are asking donors to join and expand the impact of this initiative by supporting pilot research awards to early career faculty who have chosen to devote their careers to the discovery of new approaches for improving the lives of individuals with IDD.
