Student Scholarship
The University of Kansas School of Medicine campus in Salina was created to address the critical shortage of physicians in Kansas. This innovative medical education program is aimed at students with a strong desire to practice in rural areas. A gift to One Day. One KU. will provide funds for student scholarships on the Salina campus.
Thanks to the support of the KU School of Medicine alumni and community, our students have enjoyed incredible success at matching with their preferred residencies and returning to Kansas to practice medicine. Your gift this year will ensure that the stresses of unexpected financial expenses will not cause unnecessary stress or burden on our students so they can continue to thrive on our campus.
Kansas Center for Rural Health
Located at the KU Salina Campus, The Kansas Center for Rural Health (KCRH), launched in February 2022, aims to identify and reduce rural health disparities and improve the rural healthcare workforce and care delivery through research, education, and service. The Kansas Center for Rural Health will provide value to all stakeholders, focusing on rural health professionals, health systems and communities for effective and sustainable operations and outcomes.
One Day. One KU. is a great way to make an immediate impact in the lives of our students and we thank you for your continued generosity of our future Jaydocs.
