Honors Program

Kala Mays Stroup Honors Challenge will contribute up to $50,000 if you make your gift to KU Honors today!

Kala Mays Stroup (c‘59, g’64, ‘74) will match every $1 raised today with $4. Just think – each dollar you give results in $5 for Honors students! That’s right – a 1 to 4 match to help Honors students launch extraordinary lives.

You can count on Honors to provide academic rigor and outstanding mentoring. We’ve been helping extraordinary Jayhawks take flight for almost a century. KU Honors ranks #1 in the nation – tied with six other schools.

Help an Honors student conduct research in a cutting-edge lab, study abroad, or pursue a life-changing internship.

$1,000 helps a student study abroad

$500 funds a student to present work at an academic conference

$250 funds travel to a regional internship

$100 builds support for an alternative break experience

$50 supports a local internship or service project

$25 supports a student attending two lectures or networking presentations

Remember, if you give today, every $1 you donate means Honors receives another $4 thanks to the Kala Mays Stroup Challenge! Every gift is multiplied by 5!
