School of Health Professions

Our mission at the School of Health Professions is to develop tomorrow’s leaders through exemplary education, research and service. Since our founding in 1974, we have dedicated ourselves to producing highly competent, well-trusted health care professionals in a variety of disciplines — professionals who contribute to the health care workforce in Kansas and beyond.

Our alumni and friends have a great deal to be proud of. We continue to increase enrollment and degree offerings. Our first-time pass rates far exceed the national average. Our faculty and student research productivity is growing significantly, with record numbers of grants and publications.

On this day of giving, we have identified two key priorities to maintain our rigorous education and opportunities for students:

Greatest Need Fund – This fund allows the School to cultivate new research opportunities, update facilities, and keep our school at the forefront of health care education.

Diversity and International Experience Fund – This fund allows students to acquire meaningful international experiences. It allows us to expand student exchanges and international clinical experience opportunities with international academic organizations and clinical sites, as well as increase our international faculty members.

Thank you for considering a gift to one of these priority areas, or any other program, department or initiative you feel passionate about at the School of Health Professions. Every donation counts.
