From the day students arrive at the KU School of Pharmacy, they are given a premier education by our nationally recognized faculty. Each of our students is expected not only to practice pharmacy with precision and compassion but also to serve as advocates for their patients, their co-workers and their profession. Whether it is providing flu shots to over 1,000 people each year or hosting high school summer camps and community health fairs, we take pride in serving the public through our knowledge and expertise.
On this day of giving, we are asking our wonderful alumni and friends to consider supporting our vital needs to maintain student programs and faculty instruction. By supporting Unrestricted Funds, you are enabling the school to continue investing in the development of our students and faculty; support guest lectures and new student recruitment; and invest in exciting pilot projects. Scholarships are crucial to recruit the best and brightest students and help them afford a KU School of Pharmacy degree. Our White Coats Fund allows the school to provide students with their first Pharmacy White Coats, which they wear throughout their time at KU and during field experiences across Kansas.
As we celebrate the careers of Dean Ken Audus and Senior Associate Dean Gene Hotchkiss, we hope you will support their legacy of quality teaching and investing in future pharmacists with a gift of personal philanthropy.
Every gift makes a difference. Thank you!
