Dole Institute of Politics

The Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics is one of the nation’s premier political institutes, promoting political and civic participation and civil discourse in a bipartisan, philosophically balanced manner. We celebrate public service and the legacies of U.S. Senators Bob Dole and Elizabeth Dole through our programming, congressional archive and public museum.

A unique gem in the KU community, the Dole Institute emphasizes that only through political and civic participation can citizens redirect the course of our nation. We connect students and community members to world leaders, innovators, journalists and authors.

Your gift will support the creation of a remodeled research room and showcase exhibit gallery in honor of Senator Elizabeth Dole. The Elizabeth Dole Gallery and Reading Room will include special features that will enable the space to host traveling exhibits and artifacts from our nation’s flagship cultural heritage institutions. Your generosity will help us create a space that will bring our archival collections to life and allow them to be enjoyed by all. Make your gift today!
