Alumni Association

Kristi Durkin LacléYour gift to the KU Alumni Association will advance the continued success of the Jayhawk Career Network (JCN), an exciting new program the Association launched in 2018, thanks to the generosity of alumni and the support and collaboration of our University partners. Through the support of members and donors, we welcomed Kristi Durkin Laclé, c’99, as the first full-time director of the JCN, which offers resources to Jayhawks at every career stage. Countless Jayhawks have personally benefited from connecting with fellow KU alumni in our professions and our communities; the JCN provides new opportunities for us to continue the proud tradition of Jayhawks helping Jayhawks.

Last fall marked the debut of KU Mentoring, a University-wide digital mentoring platform that already has garnered nearly 3,000 alumni mentors and more than 1,000 student mentees, connecting students and alumni based on specific industries, interests, geographic locations and other factors. KU Mentoring also is a great way for alumni to connect with one another!

The JCN also includes an alumni job board that highlights mid-career positions for any alumni looking to make their next career moves—or hire fellow Jayhawks. In addition, the Association hosts JCN events in Kansas City and other metro areas to unite students with alumni experts in various fields.

With your help, we will continue to expand career resources through continuing education, professional development, and new efforts to highlight the successes of Jayhawks in all industries.

One Jayhawk connection can change your world. Thank you, and Rock Chalk!
