Your generous contribution to the KU Alumni Association helps enhance our programs for students and alumni through the Jayhawk Career Network (JCN). This past year has underscored the fact that Jayhawks are resilient and generous in helping one another, especially through the JCN, which connects Jayhawks throughout every life stage.
In addition to the JCN's cornerstone program, KU Mentoring, and the Water Cooler newsletter, we have launched Bridges—a program that matches companies seeking help to complete one-time, specific projects with students or young alumni who can take on these assignments. Bridges provides valuable assistance for businesses and vital professional experience for younger Jayhawks when conventional internships are not available.
We also have learned that virtual events can unite alumni from faraway places. The JCN hosted 10 virtual events in fall 2020. In January, we celebrated National Mentoring Month by featuring online profiles of alumni mentors and hosting more than a dozen online events and programs for students and alumni. These innovative programs will continue throughout the year.
When you give to the Jayhawk Career Network, you help us reach and serve Jayhawks who need one another now more than ever.
Thank you, and Rock Chalk!
