Your gift on One Day. One KU. has a meaningful impact on KU Law and our students. Please consider a gift to one of the following funding priorities.
Help students when they need a hand
An unforeseen financial emergency or catastrophic event can have lasting effects on a student’s education. To make sure such a situation doesn’t prevent a student from continuing on to graduation, KU Law has established the Student Emergency Fund. The fund provides one-time grants to students in need of emergency financial assistance, including covering costs such as counseling and mental health services. The KU Law Student Emergency Fund has provided vital support to students experiencing financial hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please consider a contribution of any size to provide emergency support for students.
Help future KU lawyers pass the bar
With their law degree in hand, graduates face one final hurdle to becoming a lawyer — the bar exam. KU Law’s Bar Exam Support Fund helps students clear that hurdle without the financial pressure of paying for a commercial bar review course. The program gives all KU Law students access to a post-graduation bar review course as part of a comprehensive suite of preparation resources. Since the Bar Exam Support Fund launched in 2018, KU Law graduates have passed the bar exam at rates above the state average in Kansas and Missouri. Your contribution helps sponsor this program for future generations of Jayhawk lawyers.
