Spencer Museum of Art

University of Kansas undergraduate and graduate students power the Spencer Museum of Art.  Students support Spencer Museum staff in all departments across the Museum including curatorial, collections, administration, communications, design, and education. Your support will sustain and expand these opportunities for employment through equitable salaries and benefits, professional development, and training experiences.

As part of KU, the Spencer Museum continues to focus on student experience as a priority.  Providing student positions expands experiential learning opportunities across disciplines, departments, and schools.  Current Spencer student staff are working toward degrees in vocal performance, psychology, film, architecture, and more.  The Spencer’s interdisciplinary internships and employment opportunities allow students to engage with new ways of working with the arts and education while advancing their career goals.

Your support through One Day. One KU. for these unique student positions will have a lasting impact for the many KU students whose careers begin at the Spencer Museum of Art.
