Dole Institute of Politics

The Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics is one of the nation’s premier political institutes, promoting political and civic participation and civil discourse in a bipartisan, philosophically balanced manner. We celebrate public service and the legacies of U.S. Senators Bob Dole and Elizabeth Dole through our programming, congressional archive and public museum.

A unique gem in the KU community, the Dole Institute emphasizes that only through political and civic participation can citizens redirect the course of our nation. We connect students and community members to world leaders, innovators, journalists and authors.

Your gift to the Dole Institute will support the Dole Internship Assistance Program, which provides financial support to KU students in their pursuit of careers in public service. These awards are granted based on need, merit and relevance to the institute’s mission. Your generosity will allow us to provide assistance to the next generation of leaders as they pursue internships and opportunities around the world. Make your gift today!
