The Williams Education Fund generates financial support for all KU student-athletes with a responsibility to facilitate, promote and enhance academic and athletic experiences.
Kansas Athletics is an integral part of the student, alumni and Jayhawk fan experience. Late Night in the Phog, singing the Alma Mater and Rock Chalk Chant, Waving the Wheat at Memorial Stadium, homecoming festivities, game day in Allen Fieldhouse and all other campus traditions leading up to the anticipated walk down the hill into Memorial Stadium on graduation day — these experiences are cherished by thousands of KU students and fans year after year. With your help, we can provide our student-athletes with academic and athletic experiences that are second-to-none!
As the cost of education continues to rise and travel and facility costs increase, our need for private support is crucial. This year, one student-athlete may receive up to $94,678 in academic and athletic support. This year, Kansas Athletics will pay the University of Kansas at least $14 million for student-athlete scholarships. Athletics pays the full cost for all scholarships, whether student-athletes are in-state or out-of-state. By investing in the Williams Education Fund, you give Jayhawk student-athletes the opportunity to be champions both in the classroom and at the highest level of competition.
By showing your support of Kansas Athletics and the Williams Education Fund, you are directly impacting the lives of over 500 Jayhawk student-athletes. No matter the size of the gift or where you wave the wheat, your support will make an impact!
